About Kenzie's Closet

Kenzie's ClosetKenzie’s Closet provides prom attire for young ladies attending accredited high schools in the Tri-State area.  Services are provided at no cost to Juniors and Seniors with financial need.

When Brynne Coletti discovered that her daughter’s classmate was not attending prom because of the expense, she anonymously helped through the high school.  The need quickly became evident that more young ladies could benefit with this type of assistance.  Focusing on the goal of helping these young ladies, she started collecting dresses and prom attire.

She incorporated Kenzie’s Closet as a non-profit organization in December 2006. Brynne developed a program that believes ‘it is more than a dress’.  She crafted an experience that allows these young ladies to shop in a boutique that is every girls dream, staffed with volunteer Personal Shoppers to assist in selecting the right dress.

Since that time, Kenzie’s closet has dressed almost 3,500 young ladies for their proms.

Brynne was honored in 2009 as one of the Cincinnati Enquirer’s distinguished Women of the Year.  In 2014, Lighthouse Youth Services recognized Brynne’s work with the Beacon of Light Humanitarian Award.
